UPDATED: Man Dies After Being Trapped Underneath Car

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A man dies after being trapped by a car Tuesday afternoon in Grand Junction.
The incident happened around 12:20 p.m.
Authorities say 50-year old Stephan Barley was working underneath a friend's car when the vehicle rolled and trapped him.
Officials with the Mesa County Coroner's Office say Barley did not sustain any injuries from the car itself, but after the car rolled, it impaired his ability to breathe normally.
The cause of death was ruled as positional asphyxia, and the manner of death was an accident.
Witnesses tell NewsChannel 5 they believe the man was underneath the car for more than 20 minutes before someone noticed he was trapped.
The man was rushed to the hospital for treatment but later died.
Authorities say the investigation is on going.
