GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A man accused of the death of a Grand Junction toddler, appeared for a review hearing Thursday at the Mesa County Justice Center.

Officials said a date was set Thursday afternoon for Justin Keel to enter a plea in the case.

Keel is charged with child abuse, either knowing or reckless, that is believed to have resulted in the death of a 19-month-old boy.

Authorities say Owen Reak, was found dead by his grandparents in Montrose in April.

An investigation revealed the injuries were sustained in Mesa County, which led investigators to Keel, who was the boyfriend of the toddler's mother.

Keel is scheduled to enter a plea on Tuesday.
