GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Grand Valley is having some very special guests in town on Thursday and Friday.

The 5-man a cappella group, "MO5AIC," will be performing at numerous schools throughout the valley, where they will also be educating the students on vocal music.

“MO5AIC” has a Grand Junction tie, as one vocalist, Josh Huslig, is a Central High School and Colorado Mesa University graduate.

“I feel like music programs are the first things that we borrow from and cut budgets from,” said Josh Huslig, vocalist. “I think its good to come back and show students and teachers alike that there is life after school, as far as professional music is concerned.”

The group was the winner of MTV’s Top Pop Group and semi-finalists on America’s Got Talent.

The group first performed for Colorado Mesa University students on Wednesday, and is scheduled to perform at the Avalon Theater on Friday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
