MCSO Looking For Missing Elderly Man

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office wants the public's help in tracking down a missing man.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -The Mesa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a missing man.

Officials say 81-year-old Lou Schneider was reported missing by his family on Saturday.

They believe he ate a meal at the Golden Corral Restaurant on Highway 6 & 50 in Grand Junction in the early evening of Saturday.

Schneider is described as 5'11", weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.

He was driving a four-door green 1999 Buick Century, with a Colorado license plate of 551WYA.

Authorities say anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts should call non-emergency dispatch at (970) 242-6707.
