CEDAREDGE, Colo.- A young man who risked his life to save neighbors from a raging wildfire has returned home from treatment.

Fifteen-year-old J.D. TenNapel suffered burn injuries to his arms, legs and back after driving his ATV into a Cedaredge wildfire last Friday. He went into the fire to warn several neighbors of the danger.

TenNapel was originally treated at Delta County Memorial Hospital and then transported to Shriners Pediatric Burn Center in Sacramento, Calif.

TenNapel's father said he will continue physical therapy now that he is back home.
