Local Firefighters Battle Muscular Dystrophy

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Firefighters will take on the fight against muscular dystrophy this weekend by kick-starting their Fill the Boot Campaign.

Last year Grand Junction firefighters were able to raise $6,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and they hope to raise even more this year.

Firefighters will be collecting funds at three City Market locations, the Wal-Mart on North Avenue and Albertsons on Broadway.
