GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- It was a scary start to the week for a local business after smoke consumed its office early Monday morning.

Around 7:30 a.m. the Grand Junction Fire Department arrived on scene at the TurnKey Consulting firm, which is located at 2478 Patterson Road in Grand Junction.

When crews arrived on scene they found a light haze of smoke inside the building, and they noticed smoke coming off the roof.

“They were sent to the roof, and they noticed some fire coming out of one of the HVAC units that are on the roof,” said John Williams with the Grand Junction Fire Department. “They isolated it to the HVAC unit itself, but smoke did get inside the building.”

No one was hurt in the fire, and the exact amount of damage remains unknown.

However, the fire did take out one of the HVAC units.

Grand Junction fire officials say they believe it's an electrical-related fire, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
