Local Authorities Crackdown on Drunk Driving This St. Patrick's Day Weekend

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. While you're enjoying the weekend and celebrating St. Patrick's Day, don't forget to be smart and safe.

Local law enforcement agencies will be out in full force starting Friday and running through Sunday and they're on the look out for drunk drivers.

There's set to be a DUI checkpoint somewhere in Mesa County on Saturday.

Officials urge you to plan ahead and always have a designated driver!

Stop smoking dope and driving, stop drinking and driving and there won't be an issue. Doesnt take a genius to figure that one out.
