Lion's Club Holds 84th Annual Carnival

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Grand Junction Lion's Club celebrates it's 84th Annual Carnival and Parade all day Saturday.

The carnival at the Two Rivers Convention Center, offered thousands of cakes, games, food and a raffle with $33,000 worth of prizes.

The Lion's Club hopes to raise more than $200,000 from the carnival.

Majority of that money goes toward their nine grant recipients. The rest of the money goes back to the community in some form or another.

The carnival put on by the Grand Junction Lion's Club continues to be the largest carnival in the world.
