GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Officials with Mesa County Libraries are gearing up for a special presentation on elder-care.

A couple of weeks ago at the Palisade Branch, a local psychologist discussed a variety of issues related to aging and care for elders.

Since there was such positive feedback, the library is hosting another presentation to discuss in further this process and resources the community could utilize.

“If folks aren't experiencing it themselves than it’s something we all will be dealing with eventually, with parents or friends,” said Bob Kretschman, of the Mesa County Libraries. “This program is a good peak at some of the issues that come with aging.”

The presentation will take place on Thursday at the Central Library, located at 530 Grand Avenue in Grand Junction.

It starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free to the public.
