Leaf Pickup Starts in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- As the valley sees the leaves falling it's time to mark calendars for leaf pickup.

The program begins Monday, Oct. 15.

There will be four pickup dates for each neighborhood through Dec. 20.

A brochure was mailed out to city households with a map showing Grand Junction divided into five areas and the pickup dates for each.

For that map head to www.gjcity.org .

On the scheduled pickup day residents should be sure to have their leaves out in a pile by 7 a.m.

Anyone with questions can call the leaf removal hotline at 256-4111.
