Labor Day Closures

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Some offices will be closed as a result of the upcoming Labor Day weekend.

All city of Grand Junction offices will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day. There will also be no trash or recycling pickup that day; that will start back up on Tuesday.

Also, Monday is also a free parking meter day in downtown Grand Junction.

Most state offices will also be closed on Labor Day, but Colorado parks will be open and state troopers will be out patrolling the highways.
