Kids Voting Banquet Planned for February

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The 8th Annual Civics Celebration for Kids Voting is set to take place on February 21.

It's the main fundraiser for the non-profit which supports civic education from Kindergarten to 12th grade.

The banquet is a chance to bring students and local leaders together to highlight positive events happening in the Grand Valley.

"It's amazing to see students of different ages all over the place doing work. They see a problem and they look for a solution and it's usually very imaginative, creative and very positive," said Martha Graf, Executive Director of Kids Voting.

The banquet will be held February 21 at 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. If you're interested in attending you can buy a table or a half table and either attend the banquet, or donate the table to local students so they can attend.
