DENVER- There's a happy ending to the story of a three-legged, one-wheeled tortoise that was kidnapped earlier this week.

Stumpy the Tortoise has been found safe in the Denver area.

The animal, based in Casa Grande, Ariz., is part of an educational road show led by Wild Man Phil; he was kidnapped Wednesday, along with an SUV full of other reptiles.

Stumpy and friends were found in their SUV a few miles away from where they were stolen.

You can just imagine the thieves' surprise when they opened the animal bins.
