Kettles Homebrew Supply Celebrates National Homebrew Day

FRUITA, Colo.- Saturday was National Homebrew Day, and Fruita's Kettles Homebrew Supply cooked up a batch of their own for aspiring brew masters out there.

Five to six hours is all the time it takes to construct the perfect homemade brew.

Daniel Collins, owner of Kettles Homebrew Supply, said making beer is like food to a chef. "I can spend the afternoon making some beer and get together with friends and family later on, and have a great time. I get a source of joy out of that, but I'm here to help people learn how to make beer."

The American Homebrewers Association celebrates Homebrew Day on the first Saturday of May by bringing together thousands of homebrewers from around the world.
