GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - After waiting 15 years, the owners of Kannah Creek Brewery were happy to hold the grand opening of their new location.
The building is 14,000 square feet and houses a full scale restaurant, a 60 barrel brew house and a bottling line.
Several local leaders came out to show their support on this new venture.
"We have a similar vibe down here and it's right on the river so we think people are going to want to be down here. It's a totally different menu, we didn't really want to compete with our other restaurant so I always tell people, if they want a pizza you go up to 12th Street and if you want a hamburger you have to come down here," said Jim Jefferyes, the Co-Owner of Kannah Creek.
Nearly 10,000 square feet of the facility will be used as the brewery and production line.
Edgewater Brewery will start bottling Kannah Creeks' Land's End Amber and Standing Wave Pale Ale for regional distribution.
