PALISADE, Colo.- Not only are peaches featured at the Palisade Peach Festival, so are cars. The Just 4 Fun Car Club of Western Colorado puts on a car show every year during the festival.

On Saturday, dozens of cars filled Peach Bowl Park. There were hot rods, pickups, vintage cars and unusual farm vehicles.

At the end of the day, winners of different categories were announced.

One participant, Jerry Hill, said, "Most of the cars show a lot of work from their owners, that's what car clubs are all about. Getting these cars fixed up, maintaining them, and then they got to come out here and socialize and talk shop, so it's a good time for everybody."

The free event had a big turnout, bringing in people from all over the Western Slope. The one-day event was held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
