Job Fairs Held Today, Saturday

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Mesa County Workforce Center held their annual Jump Start Job Fair.

Dozens of businesses were accepting applications from more than 1,300 people today.

Workforce officials say the fair attracted the highest number of actively hiring employers in years.

Officials said more than 400 people were ready to be interviewed within the first hour.

Another job fair will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 for the Grand Junction Rockies.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Suplizio Field.

Positions looking to fill include concession attendants, security, ushers and retail sales.
