Jensen Asks to Withdraw Defense Attorney

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Heather Jensen, the mother accused in the death of her two young sons has asked the judge to withdraw her attorney.

Court officials tell NewsChannel 5 that Jensen filed a request asking Judge Valerie Robison to allow the withdrawal of her attorney Ed Nugent from her defense.

Jensen is facing four felonies including child abuse resulting in death, criminally negligent homicide and false reporting to authorities.

It's hard to defend someone if you've convicted them in your own mind.

Amazing...a great defense attorney who stayed with her even when she fled to Florida immediately to avoid capture and prosecution, avoid burying her children, avoid everything she wants him replaced. Ya think she's knows she's going away for life? Gonna play this for all she's got.
