DENVER- A controversial Halloween mask is raising concerns for eBay.

The company has pulled the sale of a Halloween mask depicting James Holmes, the Aurora movie theater shooting suspect.

The unidentified seller was asking for hundreds of dollars for the mask of Holmes with his orange red hair, as he appeared after his arrest for the deadly shooting.

The company explained that the listing was removed on Friday because it did not comply with the company's policy barring offensive materials.

They also added that it was canceled "out of respect for victims of violent crimes."
