James Holmes Due Back in Court Thursday

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo.- Aurora theater shooting suspect James Holmes is due back in court Thursday.

Lawyers are expected to discuss when they'll be ready for a preliminary hearing.

The hearing could be held next month, or it could be delayed depending on what prosecutors and defense lawyers tell the judge, who will use the preliminary hearing to determine if the case against the former University of Colorado graduate student should go to trial.

The 24-year-old is accused of killing 12 people and wounding 58 others in the July 20 shooting in Aurora.
