Animal Shooting Investigation Underway

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.- Officials in El Paso County are investigating a case involving three animals that were shot.

Currently, they are trying to figure out if the shootings are connected.

Two of the animals shot were horses. They both died.

At around the same time, at a nearby wildlife center, a lion was shot in the shoulder and injured.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone who has information is asked to contact the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.
