Investigation Continues in Jessica Ridgeway Death

WESTMINSTER, Colo.- The investigation continues into who killed 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway.

Some hair was found in a park where Jessica Ridgeway's body was found, and police are investigating whether it's connected to the abduction and death of the young girl.

Westminster police say someone walking by found some items, including a tuft of what appeared to be blond hair.

Police say they are still unsure whether it's human hair or if it's even connected to the case.

Police are also searching for the owner of a small wooden cross found sometime during the investigation.

Jessica disappeared after leaving for school on October 5. Her body was found five days later in field at an Arvada park about seven miles west of her home in Westminster home.
