Interior Secretary Ken Salazar Apologizes to Reporter

by KREX News Room
by Meaghan Wallace

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is expressing regrets after he threatened to punch a reporter for asking him about problems in the government's wild horse program.

His press office says Salazar regrets the exchange, but Salazar declined requests for an interview about the program.

Salazar was on a Colorado tour in support of President Obama's re-election campaign on Nov. 6 when he was asked about possible personal ties he had to the wild horse buyer.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that Salazar cut the interview short and told the reporter he would punch him if he asked about it again.

Another shining example of a kind, compassionate progressive. We are so lucky to have such folks at the helm!
