GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Museum of Western Colorado is planning one of their biggest events of the season, the Two Rivers Chautauqua Innovate Minds 2012.

The event will have live entertainment, food and drinks and Chautauqua actors portraying a few major players from history.

"We want people to understand the incredible things that people from the past have done for us, these guys have supercharged our lives, they've enhanced our lives, they've also made us think, they've introduced us to some of the important things that have occurred during their lifetime. Hopefully some little light bulbs are going off, particularly with the kids," said Kay Fiegel of the Museum of Western Colorado.

The event starts September 14 with gates opening at 5:00 p.m.

On Saturday, gates will open at 11:30 a.m.

Tickets are $7.50 per person, $12 for a couple or $15 for a family.
