Indefinite Detention Bill Gets Initial Nod

by KREX News Room

DENVER - The House State, Veterans and Military Affairs committee has passed a measure that would prevent Colorado from participating in any federal investigation, prosecution or detention of a US citizen pursued under specific federal laws that permit indefinite detention.

Under current military law in the United States, a person can be detained indefinitely with no right to a trial if they are arrested under certain circumstances.

Introduced by Rep. Jared Wright, R-54, this bipartisan bill still awaits voting in the House before it can move on to the Senate.

The democrats will vote no on it. This measure would make it more difficult to force the general populace into the FEMA re-education camps.
