Identity Released in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Authorities have released the name of the young man who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash Saturday morning. According to the Mesa County Coroner's Office, 20-year-old Colton Morgan of Grand Junction died of multiple blunt force injuries. The incident happened at around 8:15 am at Elm and 28 Road, shutting down the street for several hours. Grand Junction Police officials say Morgan was headed eastbound on Elm, when he failed to yield as he reached 28 Road. He then struck the side of a pick-up truck heading southbound on 28 Road. The driver of the truck was uninjured. The manner of death is accidental.
