Identity Released For Skier Killed on Aspen Mountain

PITKIN COUNTY, Colo.- The Pitkin County Coroner's Office has released the identity of the skier who died Monday on Aspen Mountain.

Officials say David Coe, 58 died while skiing. The cause of death was Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease and the manner of death was natural.

The Pitkin County Sheriff's Office says authorities received a medical call from the Aspen Ski Patrol saying they were performing CPR on Coe.

Coe was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
