Icy Roads Lead to Fatal Accident

FLORENCE, Colo. Colorado State Patrol responded to several accidents on Sunday due to snowy and icy road conditions. One accident they responded to shortly after 11 a.m resulted in a fatality.

It happened on the Colorado 115, North of Florence at mile marker 12.

CSP officials say a single-vehicle went off the road due to road conditions. They also said the woman driving died on scene.
