Hospice Organization Seeks More Volunteers

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado is looking for 100 dedicated people to make volunteering their New Year's resolution in 2013.

The senior care center is looking for people willing to provide support and companionship to members of their community.

There are many options for volunteers, including: visiting with patients, sharing hobbies or reading to them, running errands and providing transportation.

Anyone interested an information session will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 12 p.m. at the Hospice Care Center, 3090 N. 12th St., Unit B.
