‘Hope of the Grand Valley’ Kicks off Fundraiser for New Location

FRUTIA, Colo.- Wednesday was a very special day for members of Hope of the Grand Valley.
The organization had a ribbon cutting for their biggest endeavor yet: to provide a place for working parents with children.
They working towards buying The Stonehaven Inn located Fruita, and are now raising funds for the purchase.
“This is something that can help people that are working and struggling and don’t qualify for any assistance,” said Vicki McGee, founder of Hope of the Grand Valley. “We're not going to give them any assistance, but we are going to assistant them in saving money, budget planning, job skills, and resumes.”
By working towards purchasing this home, Hope of the Grand Valley is now officially a member of the Fruita Chamber of Commerce.
The organization is reaching out to the community for financial support in this purchase.
They’re selling bricks to the home, each for different prices:
$25: Basic Brick
$150: Brick with custom engraving
$1500: Corporate brick with custom graving
