GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. On Saturday evening, Western Colorado nurses are being honored for their passion and dedication to the field.
The Nightingale Award for Human Caring recognizes Colorado nurses whose contributions represent the philosophy and passion of Florence Nightingale.
This year, 28 nominees from Western Colorado will be honored at the Colorado Mesa University Ballroom. A reception will follow tonight's dinner.
There will also be a silent auction, with proceeds benefiting a nursing scholarship.
