High Park Fire Eats Up Nearly $30M in Costs

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo.- The High Park Fire in northern Colorado has destroyed a reported 257 homes. Nearly 50 of them are in the Glacier Park subdivision.

The fire has consumed more than 87,000 acres and is now 55 percent contained.

Nearly $30 million has been spent fighting this fire and more than 2,000 personnel are on site.
