LIVERMORE, Colo.- Firefighters in northern Colorado are close to fully containing the Hewlett Gulch Fire.

As of Monday night, the fire near Livermore was 94 percent contained.

About a half inch of rain fell at the fire on Saturday, which helped firefighters gain the upper hand on the blaze.

A camper started the fire with an outdoor stove in the Roosevelt National Forest and was unable to stamp it out.

The U.S. Forest Service says costs of fighting the fire have reached about $3.2 million.
