MESA COUNTY, Colo. Heather Jensen was released from the Lee County Jail in southwest Florida Wednesday morning and her extradition is expected to be underway.
Jensen is the mother of four-year-old Tyler and two-year-old William, who died of hyperthermia after being left in a running vehicle on the Grand Mesa.
She was arrested in Fort Myers Florida on Jan. 16 and charged with five different counts. Those included two counts of child abuse resulting in death, two counts of criminally negligent homicide and one count of false reporting to authorities.
Sheriff's officials say they do not know exactly when Jensen will arrive in Mesa County.
