Halloween Dance Held to Support Military Members

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Operation Interdependence held its first Halloween dance and salute to the troops Saturday night in order to gather funds to send military care packages.

It also gave those who came out a chance to write thank you letters to those fighting for our freedom.

"It's important to let all of our troops know that we do support them, especially during the holidays. Whether they have family members at home or not it's still difficult for them to be away, and this is our way of showing them how much we appreciate them," said Karon Carley, president of Operation Interdependence.
