LARIMER COUNTY, Colo.- On Thursday fire officials reported little overnight growth from the Fern Lake Fire burning in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The fire, located west of the Fern Lake trailhead, started Oct. 9 and had burned an estimated 400 acres as of Thursday morning.

Currently 120 personnel and seven engines are combating the blaze, and they are managing the fire with a full suppression strategy.

No homes or structures are threatened.

However, several campgrounds are closed in the area, including the Bear Lake Road, Beaver Meadows Road and Moraine Park campgrounds.

Trails west of Bear Lake Road and south of Trail Road are closed, while Trail Ridge Road is open.
