Teen Held in Brother's Alleged Slaying Near Greeley

GREELEY, Colo.- An 18-year-old man accused of shooting his 11-year-old brother to death south of Greeley is being held on $30,000 bond.

The Denver Post reports Jordan Limas appeared in court Saturday for the death of Andre Limas.

Jordan Limas was told he will be charged with criminally negligent homicide.

The boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition after Friday evening's shooting.

Weld County coroner's officials say he died about an hour later.

Sheriff's officials haven't offered further details of the arrest or how the shooting occurred.

30,000 sounds like they want him to bail and run so they don't have to deal with this case.
