GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The glossy pages of Grand Valley Magazine are back to offer tips on food, clothing and much more.

Thursday was the first day to buy the November issue.

The magazine stopped publishing a little over a year ago because of distribution issues and a lack of access to technology.

Krystyn Hartman, publisher of the magazine, says they're now fully prepared to sell subscriptions on iPads, Kindles and Nooks; there will also be an iPhone app.

"Grand Valley Magazine celebrates the dynamic life, landscape and people of the Grand Valley. It's an excellent, excellent economic development tool for representing what's good and beautiful about our community. It showcases the tenacity of our spirit," said Hartman.

The 95-page book offers information regarding fitness, business, food, shopping, outdoor activities and other topics.

Everything in the magazine is local.

Magazines are available at Barnes & Noble, Chow Down, Enstrom Candies and Walgreens.

A 10-month subscription is also available for order.
