Woman Sent to Hospital After Reportedly Being Stabbed in Head

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- A woman was hospitalized Tuesday night after authorities say she was stabbed.

The Grand Junction Police Department responded to 1715 Glenwood Ave. just after 7 p.m.

Officials say a woman believed to be in her 40s was stabbed in the head.

She was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they have a suspect who has been detained for questioning, but they are still investigating exactly what happened.
