Grand Junction Real Estate Developers Arrested for Bank Fraud

DENVER- Authorities arrest two Grand Junction real estate developers for bank fraud.

According to the United States Attorney General's Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the IRS Criminal Investigation, Franklin Thad Harris, 57 and Merlin D. Unruh were arrested in Grand Junction for a bank fraud scheme.

Harris and Unruh were indicted by a federal grand jury in Denver on Jan. 8 for charges of bank fraud and money laundering.

According to the indictment, on or about Oct. 2007 through Dec. 2008, Harris and Unruh executed a scheme to defraud First National Bank of the Rockies by using false and fraudulent representations and documentation.

Harris and Unruh were released on bond and are due back in court Jan. 15 for an arraignment.

THE SAME THING IS BEING DONE IN MONTROSE COLORADO BUT U WOULD BE SURPRISED WHO IT ENVOLVES AND ITS LAND WATER AND MORGAGES
