Grand Junction Offers Free Reading Help

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce has coordinated free reading classes for high school and elementary students.

On Monday, August 13, high school students are welcome to attend a speed reading course at Colorado Mesa University.

The program is from 8 a.m. until 3p.m., lunch is not included.

You must register at www.gjchamber.org.

On Tuesday, August 14, elementary students are welcome to attend Jump Start in the Park.

The program runs from 9 a.m. until noon.

Several organizations will be at Lincoln Park with interactive, hands-on activities for kids to participate in.

It's free to attend and no registration is necessary.
