GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- In celebration of Independence Day, the city of Grand Junction held its annual parade Wednesday.

G.J. Fireworks have not been cancelled, but postponed pending better conducive environmental conditions.

The parade is too late in the day and when temps are reaching the hottest part of the day. Make it late morning and you'll start seeing more kids/families. But hey, it's your parade. Do what works for the organizers. You can keep enjoying it all by yourselves.
