DENVER- On Wednesday Gov. John Hickenlooper will present Colorado lawmakers with a proposed budget for next year; it's the first spending plan in years with no major cuts.

The proposal includes more funding for schools and colleges, as well as Medicaid.

Hickenlooper is also suggesting the first raise in five years for state workers.

The state general fund will grow to $8.1 billion next year, up from about $7.6 billion last year.

However, that's still more than a billion dollars below the 2007 level.

Well, all that matters in the world is that the energy industry was ran off and the "green energy" scam can continue unabated. Schools, Hospitals, infrastructure is not important.
