Gov. Hickenlooper Signs First Bills of 2013 Legislative Session

DENVER- Gov. John Hickenlooper signs the first two bills of the 2013 legislative session.

HB 13-1057 would move the Colorado Avalanche Information Center back to the Department of Natural Resources.

Representative Diane Mitsch Busch of Steamboat Springs backed the bill describing the measure as vitally important to public safety as well as the economic vitality of the Western Slope.

SB 13-036 was also signed by Hickenlooper. The bill would repeal the requirement that the General Assembly annually pass a joint resolution to certify a general fund revenue.
