Gov. Hickenlooper Announces More Jobs Coming to Colorado

DENVER - Governor John Hickenlooper is makes an important jobs announcement.

Friday, Hickenlooper announced that Hitachi Data Systems, a high tech company, will be opening up a new office in Douglas County.

The new expansion will create hundreds of jobs in the area of the next five years. Governor Hickenlooper says this will be a promising addition to improve our state's economy.

Construction is set to start this month and the new facility will be open by Spring 2013.

Colorado's unemployment rate for August was 8.2%, and officials say these jobs would be welcome news.
