Ghouls, Goblins and Ghosts 'Spook' Main Street

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- Witches walked, cats crept and Southern belles sung their way into downtown Grand Junction for its annual Spooktacular Halloween.

Hundreds of people strolled down Main Street dressed up in costumes; they stopped at different stores to load up on free candy.

"We had to stop here at this candy land for the kids, cause they've been dying to come into this store. We are going to walk up one side and turn around and go down the other," said Joan Knight, a local mother of three.

Along with the free candy came some cookie and pumpkin decorating, a gravity-defying show and a costume contest.

Children 5 years old and under could even pick up a free book at Imagination Library's booth.

Thank you to all the businesses downtown that participated. My kids had a blast downtown with all that was going on.
