Get Ready for Grand Mesa Moose Day

MESA COUNTY, Colo.- Colorado Parks and Wildlife is getting ready for its third annual Grand Mesa Moose Day this Saturday.

The event attracts moose lovers from all over the country and offers a great chance to learn more about viewing moose in their natural habitat.

There will be kid friendly activities all day including a puppet show and prize giveaways.

There are several lectures scheduled throughout the day that cover topics including moose biology and history.

The festivities start at 10:00 a.m. and run until
4:00 p.m. at the U.S. Forest Service visitor center.
