GJPD Recruiting Victim Advocates

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Grand Junction Police Department is looking for people who have the heart and compassion to help victims who have experienced significant traumatic events.

GJPD victim advocates offer support, comfort and critical information to victims of crimes and other incidents, and the police department is currently recruiting additional volunteers.

Victim Advocate Program Volunteers work 12-hour, on-call shifts and respond in-person to various law enforcement-related events.
