GJPD Expands Search to Locate Missing Man

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.- The Grand Junction Police Department is expanding its search to locate a missing person.

Kenneth Cottingham was reported missing on Tuesday by his wife.

She told police the 55-year-old had been making suicidal statements and she was very concerned for his safety.

On Wednesday officers found Cottingham's truck on a canal bank at 28 Road, just south of Interstate 70.

Authorities are now asking people along the I-70 corridor, both east and west of Grand Junction, to also be on the lookout for Cottingham.

If anyone has information about Cottingham's whereabouts, they can call the Grand Junction Police Department at 970-242-6707.
